Chiesa di Sant'Ermete

The town of Sant'Ermo is clustered around the church of Sant'Ermete (Saint Hermes), dating back to the 11th century. It was raised to the status of parish in 1444 when the baptismal font was transferred here from Tartaglia. Restored by the Uppezzinghi family in 1630, it still has the coat of arms of Pisan nobility located on the facade. The Santuario della Madonna dei Monti (Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Hills) is found nearby the town.
