If you think you see a knight with a white cloak who is waving at you and behind him there is a medieval lady who is smiling at you then you know you have arrived and... the adventure is about to begin!
"Una magica Storia" is a well established educational scheme that
has been very successful in Lombardy and Emilia Romagna. The venture of the
historical group "Compagnia San Giorgio e il drago" it is aimed at
nursery, primary and junior school children but also at associations, church
recreational and private groups and can be booked all year round.
Magical history gives children the fascinating experience of wearing medieval
historical costume. Through realistic costumes and accessories, children can
identify with historical and legendary characters in really charming historical
surroundings.
Magical history makes children interested in History and Legend through a
breathtaking educational adventure in which the individual child is completely
involved in creating a harmonious group, in this way overcoming rivalry and
inhibitions.
Percival and Lancelot welcome the incredulous participants to involve them in the search for the Holy Grail and to thus restore peace to the Kingdom of Camelot. King Arthur and his young, faithful army fight the traitor Mordred and the terrible witch Morgan. Along the way, armed with swords and lots of courage, the children come face to face with mysterious animals and powerful magic. After many vicissitudes, Good will triumph!
Spectacular but safe tactics of attack and defence come alive during the
attack on the castle using swords, stones (made of foam), ′boiling´ oil
and pitch.
Numerous tests of strategy and cunning to discover the weak points in the castle
and to exploit its machicolations and arrow slits. Finally Besiegers and Besieged
unite to throw out the Tyrant. Only then will the city and the magnificent castle
flourish once again in long forgotten joy and prosperity.
Magical history ends with the coronation of the King and the appointing of the
proud soldiers to the Knights of the Code of Chivalry. Finally each participant
will receive a parchment scroll in memory of an unforgettable day!
